Servotech Revolutionizes EV Charging Landscape with Dual Patents, Paving the Way for Seamless and Cost-Effective Charging

In a groundbreaking move towards advancing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a prominent manufacturer of EV chargers and solar solutions, has officially filed two patents for innovative EV charger technology. These patents mark a significant leap in the industry, promising to transform the landscape by enabling fast charging for GB/T Bharat DC 001 vehicles through widely available CCS2 connectors using a compact additional gadget.

The first patent introduces a revolutionary methodology allowing users to fast charge any GB/T Bharat DC 001 vehicle based on 72v/96VDC through a CCS2 connector, unlocking new possibilities for interoperable and cost-effective EV charging. The second patent complements the first, further diversifying the charging ecosystem. Both patents, when implemented, are poised to contribute to a robust, interoperable, and cost-effective EV charging infrastructure.

Servotech Power Systems’ cutting-edge technology is set to redefine the EV charging landscape, particularly in regions like India where GB/T with LVDC standards are prevalent. Notably, this breakthrough eliminates the need for dual infrastructure expenses, empowering users to charge GB/T Bharat DC 001 vehicles through widely available CCS2 chargers in the country. The innovative solution extends its benefits to fleet services and vehicles adhering to the GB/T Bharat DC 001 protocol, enabling them to utilize the more abundant CCS2 chargers.

Arun Handa, Chief Technical Officer at Servotech Power Systems Ltd., emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and its role in propelling the EV industry towards enhanced accessibility, convenience, and interoperability in charging solutions. With a dedicated mission to contribute significantly to India’s e-mobility goals, Servotech aims to establish 5000 Charging Point Operator (CPO) sites nationwide, all equipped with this transformative technology.

This visionary advancement unlocks new markets for GB/T Bharat DC 001 vehicle manufacturers. It significantly eases travel for EV owners between India and Europe, aligning with the global push towards sustainable energy solutions.

Servotech Power Systems Ltd. has consistently demonstrated a commitment to cutting-edge technologies, previously filing patents to optimize grid services through battery energy storage systems and channelling renewable energy into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These innovations, applicable across solar and electric vehicle charging systems, have played a pivotal role in enhancing energy management and overall efficiency.

Behind these transformative patents lies a vision to revolutionize EV charging paradigms, particularly in regions adopting the GB/T Bharat DC 001 standard. Servotech’s commitment to a more connected, efficient, and sustainable EV ecosystem positions these patents as major contributors to developing India’s EV charging infrastructure, ushering in a future where accessibility and innovation converge seamlessly.
